“When you look at this list you can see I have a wealth of experience in diverse areas. I am an educated and informed voice at Saanich Council. I have lived in Saanich since 1987, raised my daughter, and owned and operated two businesses in this area for 20 years.
I know that planning for the future is key ... you do not want any expensive surprises!

Moving CRD forward to eliminate toxins entering our environment was a key issue for me.

This is my only grandchild just holding him makes me think what kind of future will he live in. We are all in this together, let’s ensure the next generations inherit a world that is affordable, accessible and sustainable and our climate plan initiatives have improved the future.

Chair, Planning, Transportation and Economic Development (PTED) below are a few initiatives that I spearheaded thru PTED:
Reviewed and created motion that Saanich create an Economic Development Strategy, which is now been created with our new Economic Development Officer;
Our work with staff on introducing regulations on EV chargers has lead to greater numbers being installed;
Working with staff we developed a program to help get oil tanks removed as household heat source for low to mid-income homes to heat pumps with grants, to protect environment and reduce GHG.
